This worsted weight yarn is 100% organic wool, a blend of 90% wool and 10% mohair. The wool is processed without the use of harsh chemicals or soaps harmful to the environment, or the wearer. Each skein weighs 114 grams (4 oz) and has 230 yards. Expect some vegetation since no harsh chemicals are used. Expect slight variations - even from the same dye lot, as in any hand dyed yarn.
