These delightful gloves are just the thing to wear out to brunch in New Orleans, or anywhere where you want to create a stir. Designed exclusively for Hand Jive by the amazing and talented Jennifer Lindsay, these fingerless gloves are meant for the experienced (or determined) knitter.
Materials Needed: approximately 350 yards of fingering weight yarn for the main color, 25 yards or so of the contrast color, and about 50 inches of 1/4 inch ribbon to weave into the lace edge.
Needles: 1 (2.21 mm), 1.5 (2.5 mm), and 3 (3.25 mm) needles.
The sample gloves were made with Nature's Palette™ Fingering Weight Merino yarn in Walnut (NP-113) and Chocolate (NP-114).
This pattern is printed on a new paper that Darlene is using which is 50% sugar cane pulp waste and 50% recycled paper. Still chlorine free.
